

Pre-Opera Dinners
Join General Director Michael Harrison for an operatic dining experience in the new backstage bistro at the Lyric. Renowned designer Rita St. Clair has transformed the Lyric rehearsal space into an exclusive private dining room in a style that any Mt. Vernon restaurant would covet. Sumptuous velvets, draperies, marbles and dramatic lighting will transport you to the world of Italianate grand opera.
The Brass Elephant Restaurant & Catering will present gourmet three course dinners and wine or an array of delicious brunch specialties before Sunday performances. Expanded catering facilities will allow our guests to choose from three different entrees for each occasion.
And the preview lecture by the ever-popular James Harp, Baltimore Opera Artistic Administrator and Chorus Master, will add intrigue and understanding to your opera experience.
